Utah!!!   27 March 2007
Hey everybody,

Gretchen and Kelley have made it passed the Arizona state line and are officially into Utah! They hiked from Page, AZ, southeast to Kayenta, AZ, were the Navajo WWII Code Talker museum is located. From their they went almost due north, through magnificent Monument Vally, hooked a right at the state line and are now in Mexican Hat, Utah. That's a busy week, at 143 miles. That breaks down to 20.4 miles a day. As you can see, they've really picked up the pace. They've walked a total of 717 miles, and in another seven days they should hit the halfway point.

Speaking of busy, I'm sorting through the guest book entries that have come in over the last week. There is a back log of about 250, and more arrive everyday (keep them coming!!!) All entries are manually screened and posted, to keep out any Spam and would-be advertisers. So if you don't see your guest book note posted yet, hang in there, it will be up shortly.

And the girls send out a big Hey and Thank You to Bill Andrews...

Miles to Go: 830
