Blanding, UT   01 April 2007
Hello again,
As you can see from the note below, we've got it now so the girls can post from the road. And it really does sound like they've had a good week.

The usual facts and figures: Gretchen and Kelley are currently meandering in the vicinity of Blanding, UT. Adding in today's miles, I figure that puts them at about 70 miles this week. It's probably quite a bit more because they had to make an impromptu reroute due to the non-walker-friendly road outside of Mexican Hat, UT. The two ended up driving south, back over the border into Arizona, and proceeded again from Mexican Waters, AZ.

In addition to Mr. James Sampson (at left), who helped support the Walk, we'd like to say a big thanks to Cletus Yellowplume. He shared some traditional Arapaho spiritual incense to guide Kelley and Gretchen on their walk.
Miles to Go: 760
