Naturita to Gateway 22 April 2007
Hi to all of you from Grand Jct! Just wanted to thank the town of Naturita, CO and our camp-ground hosts Bill and Diana, also the owner of High Country RV Park Ivan Hoeff for your support and generosity! And our neighbors for the week, Doug & Patti Winter, you all were very kind & generous! Also a special thanks to the town of Gateway, CO and the Gateway Inn where we stayed for 2 nights, donated by the owner of the Gateway Inn, this place is awesome, so beautiful! The rest of our time in Gateway we camped at Vic & Gloria Prosser's and they too were very kind & generous! Gloria you are one great cook! And Vic you are great story teller! We had a great time with you both...and look forward to seeing Gateway again sometime! We made it to Grand Junction on Friday the 20th and were joined by some of the local Patriot Guard Riders and more locals who wanted to walk in with us. It was a great day and we made it to the old court house on 6th & Rood on time and were greeted by more supporters there. Thanks guys we appreciate it so much! Special thanks to Quality Inn and Hawthorne Suites for donating rooms for 2 nights! Also Teresa & Russ from Whiskey River and the benefit Auction, thanks you are wonderful! Hope to see you again! Though the last time I saw him he was three or four, he and his sister will always be family. I am proud of him and that he gave the ultimate so that we all can remain free and safe. He is a hero and it's an honor to share his last name.
