'Run 4 Chance' is a non-profit organization that serves to raise awareness and funds for veterans' needs. 'Run 4 Chance' members are friends and family to Marine Corps Lance Corporal Chance R. Phelps, who was killed by enemy insurgents in Iraq on April 9th, 2004. You can learn more about who we are and our efforts here.

    Back again with another quick update: The girls made it to Riverton today! Only 100 miles left! Tomorrow will be a rest day, but soon enough they will be back on the road, and they expect to be in Crowheart on Thursday.

    For those of you who would like to come on out, The Chance Phelps Foundation reception dinner will be held at the Dubois VFW post on Sunday 27, May at 6:00PM.

    Monday the 28th, at 8:30AM, the girls will start at the Dubois Clinic and walk to Dubois Cemetery, arriving at approximately 10:00AM for Memorial Day services. Afterwards, we will again gather at the Dubois VFW.

    Dear Gretchen and Kelley,
    Sorry we didn't get to see you off from Rock Springs. We just wanted to let you know how honored we were to have you stay. It was wonderful to walk with you. It will be something that the kids and I never forget. It has hightened their awareness of the freedoms and priveleges that we have as Americans. Those everyday freedoms are what our soldiers fight each day to protect. Thank you for touching our lives. You are amazing and inspirational women and we admire you. Hope to see you again soon. You're the best.
