2007 Walk from 29 Palms, CA to Dubois, Wy

Gretchen Mack, LCpl Chance Phelps' mother, and Kelley Orndoff, his sister, are currently walking a 1,547 mile path from 29 Palms, CA(LCpl Phelps' duty station) to Dubois, WY. This trek across the western United States, is to honor their fallen son and brother and all other service members that have given their lives since 9-11 in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Our goal is to raise $1-million, giving back to those that serve (through the Fisher House program and the Semper Fi Fund.)

On February 12, 2007, starting at Twentynine Palm, CA, Gretchen and Kelley began the Walk for Chance, which will traverse 6 states, and several towns LCpl Phelps loved and once called home, before ending in his hometown and place of rest in Dubois, WY.
